Moab bound this coming weekend.  De-winterized Pod yesterday just in time to get a quick blast of snow sez the weatherman and then back to 60 by Thursday. Well, since we did get a small amount of snow again and the ice is still pretty thick on the inland lakes, maybe go and get some ice fishing in this week.  Don't mind boondocking but the rustic campgrounds aren't open yet around here. The exception is the state park in Traverse City and right now I'm too cheap to go and camp there and subsidize the big rigs that use 2 jigawatts of electric each night to run their indoor jacuzzi's, hot tubs, tv's, sound systems, furnaces, ect. ect.

techntrek, that is so true. In a campground that has about 100 sites, there were probably only 20 of us. Finally got to go on our maiden voyage this weekend. Weather was absolutely beautiful. Cool enough to have a fire morning and evening. We totally love our pod. Setting up and breaking down camp was so easy. We had a peaceful little spot next to a creek. There was a horse camp across the river and watching the riders through the trees was like watching an old western live. We both agreed on the way home that the pod is the easiest camping we've ever done and we're so glad we bought it. The Santa Fe pulled it easily, even with some long hills. So happy to have a trip behind us.
