Hi Len & Tina - Congratulations on your new 178!  :)  I'm not sure if you like state parks or not but you should check out Half Moon State Beach.  They have a campground there right by the beach and the ocean - wish I was there now!
 
Sorry I do not know anything about the Route 66 Service Protection Plan - hopefully someone else will.

Hello everyone,
We just bought a 2013 RP178! We live in Northern California-SF Bay Area. We are very excited and looking forward to taking it out, maybe this weekend!
 
One question we have, does anyone know about the Route 66 Service Protection Plan and if it's worth getting? There is a 5 year or 7 year plan.
