Linda and I are so sad about what happened.  We just don't understand.  We don't have children so it's hard to comprehend the enormity of the parents loss.  Hell, I'm upset for weeks when a pet dies, but a child. 

As for saying 'Merry Christmas'  go for it.  I'm not a christian and it doesn't bother me a bit.  In fact I've never met anyone who had a problem with anyone saying 'Merry Christmas'.

  I say yes it is OK. You can't make sense out of something that makes no sense. I believe that  separation of church and state has gone to far and to bring a little religion back into the classroom would not be a bad thing.

P.S. if more people had Pods and enjoyed the outdoors and the quiet and peace of the outdoors, I swear there would be less problems. I have a brilliant idea. After High school, then college or tech school or some type of training and you become established and can provide for yourself. H.B. 1 2013 an ammendment to the constitution, All Americans shall be issued an R-Pod of your liking, this aforementioned R-Pod shall be used to commune with nature and relax. All R Pod owners shall assist all other R-pod owners in any way deemed necesarry by both parties. R-pod owners will stay in the beautiful parks and recreation area until they no longer have ill feelings for their fellow man. I kind of like this, but I may be prejiduced. coopercdkey, well if your out of line, I am out of here. No way is it wrong to feel compassion and sorrow for this horrible occurance. There are deranged monsters in our society, they use words, hateful actions and sometimes weapons to kill and maim and hurt good people. We as Americans and fellow human beings have a duty to stand against these harmful actions. Merry Christmas to all, as for me and my family we will hold hands, say prayers and support our neighbors and family and all Americans that need a hand up. Without getting political, or religious, or getting involved with the  firearms debate,
is it OK to say how devastated Joyce and I feel about the little kids who won't be
around for this Holiday-  (I'd say "Christmas", but that might infringe on religion), 
and for the grieving parents who are now planning funerals instead of parties ?

This time of year has been stolen from those families forever.  It will never be a
joyous time again.  Damn.....
