The sites range from a "loop" that is most suited to tenters, to several more that accommodate everything from our R-Pod, to 40 footers with power and water at each site.  No sewer on site, but a three-lane dump station on the exit road, just beyond the trash compactor station.

Sites are in what is described as a "costal hammock", which means shaded by oaks and palms, but the "Ocean" is just down the road!  And what an amazing beach awaits campers who park in the day lot and take the boardwalk over the dunes to the open Atlantic.  There were large rollers coming in while we were there, and the sound of the surf could be heard from our site.  (Or maybe it was the combined drone of our air conditioners.....  Don't know for sure.)

A comprehensive Beach Grill and Gift Shop / Camper Supply was open from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm week days-  a little later on weekends, and possibly even later during season.

Pets are not allowed on the beach-  a common restriction among Florida State Parks-  but a couple of miles south on A1A Beach Road we found Public Parking with beach access and, in many instances, public rest rooms.  Another amazing dedication of valuable real estate to the common wealth.  There are tons of them!  The Campin' Cocker Spaniels got their first exposure to "ocean".  Reaction was mixed....

In all, we had a very relaxing visit and broke down wishing we had more time.
