I used a portable rechargeable jig saw with a fine-toothed saw for a clean cut. The cut has to be very perpendicular to the door to have a correct cut on both the inside and outside panels. My window did not come with installation putty...which I bought from a local RV dealer. I placed the window slightly higher than normal...I can still peek out along the lower half...but a visitor standing on the upper step cannot see inside.]]>
