I'm a little embarrassed that you haven't received any replies yet, (being a Florida R-Podder myself), and I can't add any personal recommendations yet except to say that we, too, have identified St. George Island as a destination.

I do know, from having spoken with some folks that had a place there, that your fun and activities have to be pretty much self-motivated, but if your boys are nature oriented and imaginative they should find a beautiful spot to explore and enjoy.

We are considering spending Thanksgiving in the FL panhandle, has anyone camped at any of the FL state parks in this area?
