We too are new to the Pod world!
Took it for the first time a few days ago. What an experience. First we downsized from a 24ft prowler and 1/2 ton to a Santa Fe. Had to find a small trailer to pull and found the R-Pod. Fell in love with it and bought the 171. Its an adjustment to be sure but fun trying to learn how to repack and re prioritize what to bring. First trip out...trailer came unhitched from our suv. Scared us pretty good but thankfully little damage done. Had problems with the fridge lighting on the propane but persistance paid off and got it working . Love the comfy queen bed and roomy dinette. We cook outside mostly so the small stove isn't a problem. Taking it out again this weekend. Hopefully with no more scary incidents. I have been enjoying reading all the tips and tricks and modifications people have done to their pods. Happy camping!!

We were there last spring. We had no hope of getting a site in Zion, but just outside it in Sprindale is the Zion Camping and RV Resort. Reasonable rates and you just walked up to the road to get the bus into the park. Very convenient and you are camped right on the Virgin River with the Watchman Mt above you...wonderful memories!

Is our first RV and have now had it out on a couple short trips. We pull it with a V6 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which seems to handle it pretty well (we hope). This is our first post and hope we're using Forum correctly. Also have alot of questions about our R pod, and the one at the top of our list is this: We have the 4 stabilizer jacks on the corners of the unit, but even in the fully cranked up position, we drag on the driveway/street when going in and out of our place. The driveway has some incline to it, but doesn't seem excessive. Don't want to damage the jacks, but not sure how to fix this problem without removing/changing them. Would welcome suggestions. Thanks (and happy to have the Forum available for folks like us.)
-roger & pat

We started out with a big class C, then went to a fold up ALiner type, then to a hugh camping trailer and decided we were happier being smaller. We haven't had a chance to take it camping yet, but we are busy making some modifications. Maybe in August, we will get on the road. We drove over three hours to pick it up and then drove home. Our new Rav six cylinder did just fine,,,we pulled our other small camper with a Rav.

We saw an R-pod for the firat time in April and fell in love. It didn't take us long to sell our big camper, sell our truck, and buy a Rav,,just so we could buy an R-pod!!
