Maybe it depends on where you live . I guess they can get more for them in different parts of the country. In lebanon tennessee 35 miles from Nashville the dealers have the for about 2000.00 more.&nbsp; ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1430" rel="nofollow">ToddLat</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2784<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 Aug 2012 at 7:21pm<br /><br />The initial mods are pretty much what you had stated (shower head, 3M hooks, sewer tube,&nbsp;sat TV,&nbsp;etc).&nbsp; Most of the more simple are pretty much what most poders have already listed.&nbsp; I do want to "quiet" the water pump (did not do this in our pop up and regretted it everytime it came on!).&nbsp; Our biggest issue is how best to use the storage and we will learn this (and I am sure change it)&nbsp;everytime we take the pod out.&nbsp; Getting very excited!&nbsp; Been waiting for a few months for our pod!&nbsp; It will be nice to have it.&nbsp; Oh, yes, it will be in the driveway for a&nbsp;few days&nbsp;at first while we get used it!<div>&nbsp;</div><div>Todd and Beth</div>]]>

We did a couple of trips before I started to make light mods. Nothing structual, just little things like a folding support that holds the top up in the lower bunk while you are looking for things stored, oxygenics shower head, group 27 battery, longer tube with a 15ft dump hose. take it out a few times, enjoy its simplicity and atributes, then go for it. It's more like what mods do you want to do to make it work that much better for you. Enjoy camping with the family as my kids talk about all the times we had in a pop up camper.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=431" rel="nofollow">rpodcamper.com</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2784<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30 Jul 2012 at 5:31pm<br /><br />From looking around online and also talking to my dealer in PA and 2 other&nbsp;dealers I know about the pricing is seeming to be about right.&nbsp; It is very nice buying local as you help keep jobs local but then you also have a local place to get questions answered, adjustments made.&nbsp; I have been dealing with the same Dealer for the last 18 years.&nbsp; There is a big difference in the 2009 R-pod 171 Vs the 2013 176T Trailers.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>Thats not to say you have a bit of haggle room with the dealer you are dealing with now.&nbsp; Will they throw anything else in on the dealer?&nbsp; Like making sure your TV is ready with the break controller, Hitch adjustment, ect........</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]>
