trip was great, the weather was perfect, we turned off the a/c and cracked the windows back by the short queen, turned the fan on low and it was perfect, woke up to 67 degrees, it was almost cold in the a.m. the algae bloom was so heavy on the fresh water lake that I could only see about 3 feet, I did have a 3 lb bass cruising with me. we are heading out this upcoming weekend ( I hope ) am looking forward to sept/oct/nov cool camping, hiking and cooking out.]]> Sun, 05 Aug 2012 21:33:57 +0000 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=2776&PID=26597#26597 come rain or shine : How did the trip go? We missed the last two weekends, but not this upcoming one. Might be some thunderstorms Friday night, so what, its supposed to be a little cooler, and under those 80 foot Jack Pines its a lot cooler. The pod is rolling out for a 2 nighter. I am taking my Snorkling gear with me for one of the local 60 acre lakes.
