She has Traced her Lines back to&nbsp;<div>England, Dayton&nbsp;</div><div>France, Doiron (changed name to Gould after the exile of the&nbsp;Acadians)</div><div>Scotland, Fleet and Stewart&nbsp;</div><div>Ireland, Greer&nbsp;</div><div>And maybe Wales. She is not sure if the Murray line is English or Welsh.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>I started to do mine and my English Irish Mothers family was fairly easy but my Fathers French Native American family is a mess and I could not get to far with it.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Its funny but my wife has ancestors that fought on the opposite side of the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 to yours &nbsp;and I can't prove it but I may have&nbsp;ancestors that fought on the&nbsp;opposite&nbsp;side of the Indian wars.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div></div></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=410" rel="nofollow">TerryM</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2716<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29 Jun 2012 at 8:34am<br /><br />I'm using Ancestry.Com to do my family genealogy.&nbsp; So far I have 862 people in the family tree.&nbsp; I trace 4 family lines:<br><br>1.&nbsp; My fathers father&nbsp; (McGee)<br>2.&nbsp; My fathers mother (Braeudigam)<br>3.&nbsp; My mothers father (MCGary)<br>4.&nbsp; My mothers mother (Sutton)<br><br>Number 1 ends in Ireland.<br>Number 2 ends in Germany<br>Number 3 ends in Ireland<br>Number 4 ends in Ireland<br><br>After going back to the 1200's in Germany I had enough and deleted most of it.&nbsp; I now only go back to the members that first came to America in the early 1800's.<br>Eventually I will follow the Irish lines as far as I can in Ireland.&nbsp; One BIG problem is the spelling of names, such as McGary, McGarry, McGeary, MaGary and McGory.&nbsp; All within the same family line.&nbsp; The McGee line has the same problem.&nbsp; Census takers spelled a name the way they "thought" it was spelled instead of asking.<br><br>It is very interesting.&nbsp; I have lost relatives in the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Mexican War, "The Indian Wars" and the Civil War.&nbsp; In the then wilderness frontier of western PA they fought Indians from The Six Nations.&nbsp; Tough people back then.<br><br>Terry<br>]]>
