    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=705" rel="nofollow">g4royce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2711<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28 Jun 2012 at 12:44pm<br /><br />We recently got a <a href="http://www.amaz&#111;n.com/Victorio-VKP1101-Snow-Maker-Shaver/dp/B002S0JYRA/ref=pd_sbs_k_8" target="_blank">hand crank ice shaver</a> to make shaved-ice desserts such as snow cones and slushies. &nbsp;Unlike ice cream making bowls that don't fit in the pod freezer, premade ice pucks can all fit in a ziplock bag in the freezer <img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" />&nbsp; Trying to make a new ice-puck will take at least a day, so premade pucks are the secret to good shaved ice while podding.&nbsp;<img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" /><div><br></div><div>For large amounts of shaved ice or shaved ice made from store bought ice cubes, we'd recommend an electric ice shaver and not a manual one. &nbsp;If shaved ice isn't as important as crushed ice, then a good blender or electric ice crusher will suffice.</div><div><br></div><div>Stay cool.&nbsp;<br><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>]]>
