thebegbe, my wife Donna was the same way, no way she was camping, she thought camping was going to a Holiday inn. I got her to go with me one time to Hoosier National forest, a typical federal site with trails, lakes, quiet camping areas and 4 fishing lakes. We bought a 2011 RP-172 and now she is a camping nut. We had a wonderful time at McKinney Falls State Park - Austin, TX.  I highly recommend it if you are in the area.  Not crowed, easy access and great facilities.
