Wow, we were there last year (Strait's) in June, and it was almost totally full!  Great view of our grand bridge, isn't it.  I think it puts the Golden Gate to shame, ours is much more impressive and longer !!!!

Plan on getting up to the UP next month, I see that is tomorrow, but later in the month we plan on heading up to Manistique.  Much to see and do in the UP !!!!

Had a great camping trip in the UP in Michigan. We stayed at the Straits Campground in St Ignace. 300 campsites and only 4 other campers. Very nice. Took a ferry over to Macinac Island, spent the day there. Interesting place. Next day headed north to see some waterfalls and walk the shoreline of Lake Superior. Weather was perfect and great to be camping again. Coming home on RT 2 we saw another R-POD on the road. It was newer than ours. A little darker in color.
