    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1273" rel="nofollow">elko.mike</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2595<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 25 May 2012 at 12:11am<br /><br />They couldn't have been nicer to a pair of old people looking for a small TT.&nbsp; The salesman Glen sat with us for a couple of hours and patiently answered all of our questions.&nbsp; He showed us a number of trailers, new and used, and after talking with us we settled on the r-pod 171 in Tuscany.<br>On the walk through Don spent almost 4 hours (did I mentioned I'm a newbie), patiently showing me how things worked.&nbsp; As a retired aerospace engineer I'm detail oriented.&nbsp; He explained how things worked and then I had him go through, step by step, setup, tear down, winterizing, de-winterizing.&nbsp; This was on a Saturday and he was called in specifically for our walk through.&nbsp; I am sure he had better things to do, but worked patiently with us until we had no questions left.<br>We had our first overnight shakedown last night and had some troubles with the furnace.&nbsp; First it lit and set off one of the detectors over the bed.&nbsp; I decided it would wait until morning and so shut the furnace off.&nbsp; In the morning it wouldn't light and I called Nelson's.&nbsp; I'm pleased to say that I did have the gas turned on and I was on docking power so that it wasn't a newbie problem.&nbsp; They made some suggestions, I tried them and the furnace lit.&nbsp; They suggested that I run it with the windows upon for a while to stop it from tripping the detector.&nbsp; I did that after arriving home and it worked.<br>Thus far the experience with Nelson's has been all I can hope for.<br>]]>
