    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1014" rel="nofollow">Camper Bob</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2557<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 May 2012 at 9:57am<br /><br />We are on our third day of our shakedown cruise.&nbsp; Just picked up our new 171 on Thursday afternoon.&nbsp; We have now gone from a 2 foot pile of "stuff" on the dining table to about only a foot.&nbsp; Slowly rethinking where stuff should be stored.&nbsp; Just enjoy the heck out of it and as was mentioned keep a tablet and pen handy to jot down all you still need to buy and any gripes you have with the operation of the trailer.&nbsp;&nbsp; Never&nbsp;been to a Wal-Mart before but they seem to have all the things we forgot to&nbsp;buy.&nbsp; One suggestion, since the kitchen sink has to perform double duty at night, would suggest you buy&nbsp;a plastic wash basin to wash your dishes in, and then use the sink to rinse.&nbsp; Also, buy about 6 Command Hooks for hanging things.&nbsp; Work great.&nbsp; Any way, congrats and&nbsp;Safe Travels.&nbsp;]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=598" rel="nofollow">kymooses</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2557<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10 May 2012 at 9:43am<br /><br />Take a notepad and ink pen with you, and each time you think, "Geez wouldn't it be nice if we had brought "x" with us, or I wish we had some of "y" it would make things so much easier."<div>&nbsp;</div><div>My DW and I have camped for 15 years together now and are starting our second year podding.&nbsp; Our legal pad that we carry with us is still one of the best things that we take with us.&nbsp; You never know when you might think of something that can make your Podding more successful next time.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>As an example, this past weekend we were relaxing under the R-Dome and our hats kept blowing off of our side tables.&nbsp; I said wouldn't it be nice if we had 2 extra suction cups that we could stick to the Pod and hang our hats on so they wouldn't always be on the ground.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Next time out our hats have a new home and so do our dog's leashes!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Other than that, from our own experiences, always expect you'll leave at least one thing you wanted at home, and just have fun!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Congrats on the new Pod!</div>]]>
