    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=819" rel="nofollow">Hodge-PODge</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2543<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 May 2012 at 8:21am<br /><br />Welcome Burt and Laura, and Pugspod! &nbsp;About storage ideas - here are just a few: &nbsp;<div><br><div>--10 gallon rubbermaid-type tubs (or larger if they will fit) - I have 2 in the dinette storage bench. &nbsp;Some people put clothes in them, but I have canned and dry foods like cereal in one of mine. &nbsp;I have 2 rolling laundry baskets under my bed. &nbsp;In one I store my clothes - in the other I store spare kitchen stuff. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>--Over the bathroom door I have an over-the-door shoe pocket - it's amazing what kinds of things that will hold - trash bags, wash cloths, dish towels, a first aid kit, toilet paper, etc. &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>--Above the fridge on that little shelf, I have 3 small rectangular baskets that hold all kinds of little goodies - tape measure, a small level, all kinds of knick knacks.</div></div><div><br></div><div>-- In the bathroom: &nbsp;I have a corner shelf (spring tension rod from floor to ceiling) in the bathroom, and a mesh hanging storage pocket from the dollar store mounted on the wall and held up with 3M hooks. &nbsp;I also have a small plastic tub with a snap on lid that will hold a couple of rolls of toilet paper and keep them dry - it just sits on the floor by the toilet. &nbsp;I mounted a little basket on the wall (again with 3M hooks), which holds soap and toothpaste by the sink. &nbsp;And from Camping World I got some stick-on toothbrush holders. &nbsp;I also have a Coleman mirror which I bought from the camping section at Walmart - I stuck it up with 3-M velcro. &nbsp;The velcro is handy if you might need to take something back off the wall to clean it.</div><div><br></div><div>-- I have multiple 3M Command stick-on hooks on the wall in the kitchen to hang utensils, and I have a stick-on spice rack on the wall. &nbsp;I mounted a wall clock by the bathroom door - again with 3M velcro so I could take down the clock to change batteries - and the velcro keeps the clock from bouncing around when towing.</div><div><br></div><div>-- I also have a coat rack with hooks by the Pod door.</div><div><br></div><div>That is not all I have, but it's enough for you to take in now. &nbsp;I hope some of these ideas for storage will also work for you. &nbsp;Happy Podding!</div><div><br></div><div>Diane</div><div><br></div><div><br></div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1014" rel="nofollow">Camper Bob</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2543<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 May 2012 at 7:46am<br /><br />Welcome.&nbsp; We are awaiting our new 171 to be prepped by the dealer.&nbsp; We went to the factory in Dallas, Oregon to see our trailer on the final inspection line.&nbsp; We should take delivery this week, as our shakedown cruise starts Friday.&nbsp; I have looked on this forum since Sept. of last year and gotten a ton of ideas and mods.&nbsp; The dealer will add our dual lp tanks with autocutover and a larger size 27 Optima battery.&nbsp; Also added a battery cutoff switch and longer waste tube.&nbsp; All of these ideas came from the forum.&nbsp; Enjoy your new trailer and Safe Travels.]]>
