We had a great weekend in the R-pod at Weston Bend State Park, Weston, MO. We went there this time specifically to enjoy the 2nd Annual Weston Bluegrass Festival, three days of music, with something for anyone who enjoys bluegrass or country music. The event is held in a tobacco warehouse, has two stages and lots of local and midwestern bands. Our favorite was Ashes to Immortality, from Lawrence, KS,  who were staying in the next campsite, really nice folks! More pictures here if anyone is interested:

We will be back in the park in a couple of weeks for the Audubon Society's Wings over Weston, also good family fun, celebrating the migratory birds of the Missouri River Valley, and again over Labor Day for the very informal 2nd annual central midwest Rpod mini-meet!
 
We had quite a thunderstorm just after midnight/Sunday morning. It was much more comfy to be in a cozy R-pod than in a tent. I just love this trailer!
