When I put the ribbed edge of the Dome tent into the slot over the door, my first inclination was to pull it along with a pair of pliers. That turned out near impossible and instead I PUSHED it in and was surprised how easily it went into the slot. The only downside was that I noticed some 'shaved' inch+ pieces of the plastic rib at my feet. I think I will take a small file and round off sharp edges of the slot oppening to prevent this next time.

Has any tent owner experienced this too? Is there a better method? The prev owner said he sprayed some silicon in the slot to make it slide better.
