Welcome! I'm located up in Berks County outside of Reading, PA. I would be more than willing to meet up and help you out as we have a 2009 171 Rpod purchased April 2009. A local campground to both of us is French Creek State Park (http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/findapark/frenchcreek/) which is an easy pull from the Phila Area. They are open year round. We just had 3 pods there on Jan 13-15 and had a great time. Thanks all for the gracious welcome here, i am used to more unpolished welcome back in the dirt bike forums :)

since this would be the first time ever camping with camper in my life, i was thinking if there was a place where we can see where we all are, like a map or general area listing.

this would be very helpful for newbies like me to know where the closest rpod guy is and if there is a need to check on other rpods (and see if that where things are supposed to be), also we can swap tales of dealerships and campgrounds

since i am in the suburbs of philly, i would like to camp for the first time with a fellow rpodder if possible, so when the good weather breaks out, maybe we can have a get together of people arnd my geographic location....i know about the northeast meetup but that is on a much larger scale than wat i am looking at....

Hi All

My name is Rudy (Rudram is the real name) and wife's name is Reshmi. We just had our first baby in December 2011, and right away we knew we need a camper for the lil one (Omkar).

We are from India (Andaman Nicobar Islands, grew up there), came to US back in 2003 (Texas A&M), and since then have moved to Philly and started riding dirt bikes and camping was a part of it.

My search for the Rpod started a month back and then got lucky to find a 2011 171, very close to home, the price was right and we jumped the gun. Will be picking up the pod start of March.

This forum has been very helpful and i will be posting more questions as and when i will be using it. Looking ahead to good times ahead.
