The salesman at the dealership said the tongue weight for the Liberty was rated at 500lbs. But I would have to recheck my manual if that is true or not. But I do remember we were safe within the weight ratings when I did check every thing. When I weighed the trailer and Jeep I unhitched the trailer. Each were on a seperate pad at the scale for indvidual weights.]]>

The Rpod with our added mods and miscellaneous items ( Bal leveler, rdome, tools, dishes, cookware, air compressor, etc.) weighed 2,700 lbs. Our Liberty with no passengers and about 14 gallons of gasoline weighed 4,080 lbs. The Liberty has 5,000 lb. towing capacity so we are safe within our limit.]]>
