We attended this event last year and had a great time. Several of the bands we really enjoyed are returning this April 27th and 28th, 2012. As several of you who joined us last Labor Day at Weston Bend State Park know, Weston, just north of Kansas City, MO, is a nifty little river town, and the State Park is a great place to spend a few days in the Rpod. It is a 1.3 mile walk or a 5 minute ride to the site of the festival from the park.

It is time to end the winter blahs, by thinking about being outside again in the spring, with Bluegrass instead of winter blues. Reservations at the park can be made at the MODNR website or if the reservation website is down (like tonight), phone res can be made at the number on the site.

If anyone would like to join us, it will be a good time. (And there is quite a bit of other stuff to do in Weston or KC in the spring, too) I have my order in for a lovely, dry and sunny, spring weekend at site 11, Weston Bend.
