I've seen the 177 HRE close up and personal. Pretty sure that the axle riser adds 3" and the larger tires push it closer to 4"    ...but it probably really doesn't matter.

You already have the axle risers, so get them to throw in the R-Dome as part of the purchase.

dsmiths, the HR comes with the risers installed so it is higher by 3-4 inches. Hey Foot S, I think I read that Hood River had higher clearance to get into rough areas, is that correct ? Located the dealer closest to us (northern Colorado) and they have a 177 model (Hood River Edition) onnthe lot. All over now but the haggling :-)
