Author: Podsible Dream
Subject: 2096
Posted: 16 Sep 2011 at 4:57pm

I just returned last night from 10 days in Europe 2 days in Middle East (not Europe, I know), 6 days in Lithuania, an 2 in Germany-France- - business, not holiday, although I did get in some sightseeing. there were lots of small UL size trailers to go behind their smaller TVs. I saw a large number of Class C's on the highways in Germany. They were small, but looked complete. Most campers were quite short, not tall inside so six rooters like me would be really bent over inside. In Lithuania there were a number of campground signs but I didn't get the chance to go into one to check it out. There were more cars with tow hitches than I see here in the states, so the summer might well show more trailers on the road than now. No R-pods, though! I would have gotten a picture for Techntrek if I saw one, though!!
In spite of the population density, there are many parks and camping is a favorite recreational activity there. It would be fun to rent a camper and do a vacation that way.... Except at $9.50 a gallon, gas is the major cost of such an escape!!
