    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=819" rel="nofollow">Hodge-PODge</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1991<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28 Jul 2011 at 11:01pm<br /><br />Sherrie, <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The rip was not in the seam but it was in the white fabric beside the seam.&nbsp; It ripped about 3 feet.&nbsp; I had previously talked to the dealer on the phone&nbsp;and he asked me to bring&nbsp;the R-Dome&nbsp;down for his warranty guy to look at when I had the axle risers installed.&nbsp; The warranty guy looked at it and then called FR and they said they would send a replacement because they were already&nbsp;aware there was a defect with the fabric.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I didn't have to deal with FR myself.&nbsp; But I do have to turn the ripped R-Dome back in to the dealer&nbsp;when the new dome comes in.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Diane</DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=819" rel="nofollow">Hodge-PODge</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1991<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 27 Jul 2011 at 5:04pm<br /><br />Hello there Pod&nbsp;Folks,<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I used my R-Dome for the first time on my last camping trip mid-July, and I loved it.&nbsp; Unfortunately, when I took it down, I was shocked &nbsp;<img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley10.gif" height="20" width="18" border="0" alt="Star" title="Star" />&nbsp; that it (the white part) ripped!&nbsp; And it ripped&nbsp;so easily.&nbsp; No problem -- It turns out that Forest River is aware&nbsp;<FONT color=#ff0000><strong>that the R-dome material is defective&nbsp;(or weak)</strong></FONT>&nbsp;and so they are replacing &nbsp;<img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley20.gif" height="18" width="36" border="0" alt="Thumbs Up" title="Thumbs Up" />&nbsp; my R-Dome.&nbsp; I don't know if this has been an issue for anyone else, but thought you might like to know.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Also, had the axle risers installed today.&nbsp; No more sanding the stabilizers on the pavement or digging them in the dirt,&nbsp;. . . <strong>AND&nbsp;. . . </strong>no more "dumping" uphill.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Diane</DIV>]]>
