In the 500 miles we have put on the IPod so far, it has tracked perfectly behind my Nissan Titan and I have not experienced any "white knuckle" steering incidents. Have been passed by large trucks with trailers and been in some decent cross winds all without any handling problems. However, I have read a number of horror stories on the internet about the need for weight distribution/anti sway add on's. What do you all think?
I didn't find this site until our Rpod was in the driveway but I have followed a number of suggestion that makes our Tri-pod more comfortable. Changed out the table legs for a pedestal, cut down the hatch cover under the left seat so you could open it with out removing the back seat cushion, use a cane to hold up the lower bunk bed when getting stored items, purchased an awning and a couple of other excellent ideas that I found here.
