Cool, yeah I didn't want to use the stand for whatever reason.  I just bought a wall mount, braced the back of the entertainment center, and wall mounted the TV.   It is extremely sturdy, so I don't need to worry about straps or anything.  I did mount it low so it would have some extra ventilation, but I may end up moving it up so that it's centered.

We have a 176 and I just drilled two holes, one on each side of the plastic stand and screwed two flat headed SS screws through the holes and into the wood shelf. This way I don't worry about the TV shifting during transport. It seems to me the Tv is large enough to be seen from any place in the camper. I also attached a web belt to the back wall which I strap around the Tv when we are moving to take the strain off the plastic stand. Wanted to recommend to you all something I was clued into buying by one of the Forest River Engineers recently.
 
There is an IR Repeater cable that you can buy that plugs into the back of your Jensen stereo dvd/combo inside the pod.
 
Once you run the wire you can use the stereo dvd controls from the garage of your Pod.
 
We run dvd's at night when we're in the dome playing games or just relaxing and I hated never being able to control the volume or pause the dvd's or anything.

Yeah, I'll likely do that a little later.  I went ahead and used the mount I'd already ordered for now.  Basically, I just cut a 1x4 into 2 12 3/4" lengths (the distance between "studs" in the back of the entertainment center), pre-drilled everything, did some measuring then installed them.  Then I just mounted the TV mount to those two boards.  I stained them first, but that was probably pointless because they are impossible to see.

I also mounted the TV low..first to hide the wires behind it without me having to tie everything up and out of sight (not much working room back there for that), and second to give it some extra room to vent.  Then I put velcro on the back of the remotes and attached them to the inside wall of the entertainment center above the plugs.  Works great.  Everything is secure and out of sight.

Although, it's worth noting that it does look a bit funny to have the TV not centered.  I might move it up later.

We also have the 182G, and on our recent trip to Montana, we used it in both places (garage & inside). Absolutely love being able to watch a DVD while preparing the food.

 I decided it would be more secure traveling with it inside the 'pod instead of in the garage, so I removed the straps from the back and screwed them into the wood frame surrounding the inside TV mount area. Just to keep it very solid, I cut down a block of styrofoam to put underneath it to keep the TV from jiggling around. I placed that between the bottom of the TV and the lower part of the frame. Works like a charm, and it keeps the TV very secure while traveling over the bumps of all that summer road construction!

I haven't had a problem using the garage, just not as much room to set up chairs and watch the tv back there I've found.  Also I took the strap from the garage and moved it into the inside.  This way our tv stays inside strapped up against the wall unless we want to watch it outside at night or something.
 
Love the garage for the cooking and dishes.  It's the perfect area for all of that!

@kymooses--We leave the tv in the garage unless we're camping when it will come inside the trailer.  I've not been in a position where there's been a problem using the garage.  It's been a blessing to use it to prep and to do dishes.

@tpierce220 ~ Do you find yourselves using the mount in the garage much yet?  In our 181g I found that our garage is almost always up against trees at a campground and never much room to even think of using the tv back there.
 
This past week I moved the TV mount in the garage and added it into the Rdome seating area just beneach the window by the door.  The wife and I are enjoying it much more there now.

Do you have a picture of it?  Part of the problem is that the entertainment center where the TV goes doesn't have any solid framing to attach the TV too...it's just veneer in the back, which can't hold the TV up.  At least, it felt like nothing was there from a gentle press..the entire backing moved.  I have a stud finder, so I'll check with that prior to installing my work around, but I"m wondering why they didn't put some framing there to mount the TV to start with.

Not sure what kind of mount the 182 came with, but I just ordered a very simple flat mount from some online RV site for 20 bucks that should work fine.

If I had to add something to my Rpod wish list, it would be a TV mount.  We have a 176, and got the 19" HDTV with it.  Unfortunately, the TV not only didn't come with a mount (which I can excuse), but there is nowhere to mount it.  In order to mount the TV in it's intended location in the entertainment center, I have to attach some 1x4's to the back of the entertainment center, secure them to the shelves above and below, stain it (and hope it matches close enough) so I can mount the TV where it belongs.

You could argue they just want you to secure it with the included stand, but that stand doesn't even fit flat on the given shelf.  It's a small gripe, and it should be easy for them to give you some wood to screw a TV mount on there.  They could even put it in the framing behind the veneer, and just mark it somehow for you.

As an aside, it'd be nice if they included a qt of matching stain with every camper purchase for touch ups and mods.
