If I ran the A/C all day would it keep the thermostat cool and prevent the problem from happening ? It seems like a lot of power use for a trailer that's empty all day. This is my first time needing the A/C so any advice will be welcome.

I currently have it unplugged and hope that solves the problem. I have to sleep in there tonight !

ps. does it make any sense at all that this A/C unit is black ????
