I heard the weather report, and it was said that normally tornadoes are at their peak in the month of may.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=703" rel="nofollow">iamsmonk</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1766<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28 Apr 2011 at 10:40pm<br /><br />Here in the piedmont of North Carolina we dodged the bullet again.&nbsp; I'm so sick of these strong fronts rolling through this April.&nbsp; I heard on radio this afternoon that April averages about 150 tornados and this year there have been nearly 600 reported.&nbsp; And that's just in the month of April.&nbsp; We have been so lucky (so far) and I'm so thankful.&nbsp; My heart truly goes out to those who have not been as fortunate and to those who have lost family and friends.&nbsp; I see that they are expecting another front to come through Monday into Tuesday.&nbsp; Let's hope they are not as severe.&nbsp; In the meantime, we're heading back to the campground when I get off work tomorrow and get to stay until Monday.&nbsp; We are only 30 minutes from the CG so should make it home before the weather gets here.&nbsp; Everyone stay safe and have a great weekend.]]>
