I also added an additional cross frame member from side to side and several triangles to help stabilize the receiver. I do understand the weight issue as far as the tongue goes. My plan would be to load the camper with my heavy items normally reserved for the bed of my truck. Put them all forward so I offset the weight off the back. Your concerns are my concerns as far as tail heavy of course. Has anyone actually done this.&nbsp;]]>

That's why some bicycle carriers are rated for RV use and others not. Best of luck and have a great summer of camping!</div>]]>

You have to take into account the weight of the carrier plus cargo placed on it stay under 100 lbs.]]>
