If you don't use a WDH, you will need to augment your rear suspension to reduce the sag caused by the weight of the trailer on the hitch. That can be something like air bags, sumo springs, or other spring enhancers.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>The WDH does the job and does not involve the truck, but stays with the trailer.</div><div><br></div><div>I have towed our Rpod a couple of times without the WDH, and it plays serious havoc with the headlights (headlights up in the trees).
