    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1146" rel="nofollow">jato</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16402<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Mar 2026 at 12:35am<br /><br />Good to hear you are pleased with the 177.&nbsp; We have owned ours since its purchase in January 2011.&nbsp; We have logged over 53K miles on it with very few issues.&nbsp; The only big ones were when we replaced the fridge with the same model number (the original lasted 10 years) back in 2020 at a cost of $ 1150.00 and then replaced the axle (too much camber on the driver side) in 2024 at a cost of $ 1200.&nbsp; Other than that, the two of us love to take it for 30 day trips out west, as well as shorter ones in the northern Michigan area, where we reside.&nbsp; If you have questions or issues, this forum acts as your 24/7 owners manual.&nbsp; We have been blessed many times with help we have received when questions would arrive.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14150" rel="nofollow">ppine</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16402<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 Mar 2026 at 12:19pm<br /><br />I have been working on a 177 about 10 years old this winter.&nbsp; &nbsp;I took "Terrapin" out this week to the woods at a California State Park.&nbsp; Everything works but the ceiling fan.&nbsp; Fix that next.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>The rig fits everywhere which is why I bought it.&nbsp; It is definitely compact but keeping things organized helps a lot.&nbsp; I wish the bed was a few inches longer.&nbsp; I am getting used to sleeping at an angle across the bed.&nbsp; It is cozy and reminds of sleeping on a boat.&nbsp; &nbsp;Not as well insulated as some larger rigs but overall very satisfactory.&nbsp; The low was 34 degrees.&nbsp; Making coffee got the rig up close to 50 degrees.&nbsp; Next trip will be soon.&nbsp;</div>]]>
