   I think this thread is important and of interest to all. My wife and I never had children but we both grew up camping with our parents. Having that experience I think getting children interested in wildlife and nature knowing the names of wildlife, flowers and trees. Having good shoes that are comfortable for going on hikes and hats to protect their faces from over sun exposure. I am sure parents with the actual experience of raising children could add a lot more useful information camping with children.
