    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14020" rel="nofollow">Jcmorgan31</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16274<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20 Aug 2025 at 2:58pm<br /><br />The 2016 183G that we picked up a month ago does not have an antenna on it.&nbsp; &nbsp;I can see where the antenna was, but it has been removed and the roof patched.&nbsp; &nbsp;I pulled the radio a couple of days ago and it looked like the antenna had been leaking in the past, so I assume a previous owner just took it out.<div><br></div><div>My question is has anyone just used a portable TV antenna that you could just sit on the roof once parked and run a coax down to the antenna / cable in on the camper?&nbsp; &nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Will the antenna amplifier send power back to this port if I want to use a boosted antenna like this?</div><div><br></div><div>I could purchase and reinstall an antenna where the old one was, but not sure I want to put that hole back in the roof.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks in advance!</div>]]>
