    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=14020" rel="nofollow">Jcmorgan31</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16269<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 Aug 2025 at 12:12pm<br /><br />Hello all!<div><br></div><div>My wife and I have been campers off and on for a couple of decades.&nbsp; &nbsp;We recently became empty nesters and decided to get back into it.&nbsp; My tow vehicle is a Jeep Gladiator so weight is a limitation.&nbsp; &nbsp;I also enjoy outdoor kitchens, meaning an outdoor kitchen (not a griddle mounted to the outside of the camper).&nbsp; &nbsp;We found a great deal on a 183G and made a 12 hour round trip drive to pick it up about a month ago.&nbsp; The "great deal" part of it was because of soft floors and a leaky garage.&nbsp; &nbsp;I knew that going into it but I'm pretty savvy when it comes to fixing things.</div><div><br></div><div>I've already added the axle lift to get the back end up off the ground, re-sealed the trim where the rear clam shell connects (which fixed the leaky garage), added a floor support underneath, and ripped out and replaced most of the floor.</div><div><br></div><div>Our first outing is this weekend so we are going to see how we like this little camper.&nbsp; &nbsp; Looking forward to learning and contributing here.&nbsp;</div>]]>
