We have not camped the last 3 years, but we are getting the trailer ready and testing the furnace, fridge, stove, microwave. All work fine--no issues. Only issue is the fresh water tank. The nipple cracked at the joint where the nipple meets the water tank. I was able to fix it, so all is good.
The trailer is always outside (for 15 years), no cover and all decals are fine. I forgot to mention that we have never had a leak from the roof, walls or floor. Also there are no soft spots in the floor or walls. And by the way, none of my cabinets have ever fallen on the floor, as suggested by more than one member. The reason my trailer is in this condition after 15 years is maintenance, maintenance, maintenance!
My built-in generator hasn't killed me yet and no fumes inside the trailer and no vibration, while others put a 3200 W generator on a rack in front of the trailer, so the whole campground can hear the rattling. My goal was to keep the noise of my generator within my campsite; 30-50 yards away you can barely hear it. Many people have stood right by my running generator and are surprised to be able to carry on a conversation in normal voices.

Edited by marwayne - 05 Aug 2025 at 1:13am

Given the age of the R-Pod and, presumably, the refrigerator, replacement might be your best option. That happened to the one in our prior R-Pod. I ended up replacing it with a Dometic CRX-1110E AC/DC refrigerator. That necessitated some modifications of the opening and capping off the propane line. The down side was that it cut the boondocking capability. The plus side was that it was very good at actually getting and keeping things cold. Plus, you could actually run it on DC without killing the battery in a couple of hours.

This is what it looks like: https://www.wholesalemarine.com/dometic-crx1110e-rv-fridge-silver/
