Hello, we have an rpod 179. And want to swap out the traditional manufacture ac with a 12volt DC Outequip unit. My question is the wiring. The unit comes with 12 of 6gauge wire and an inline fuse. Has anyone done this? Access wise it would be easy to drop it right to the camper fuse/ connection box toward back of camper rather than try to run all way outside to front hitch for direct hookup to our double battery setup. Any thoughts???
