The 2016 model won't support an awning as the reinforcement isn't there. I was able to get one on our former 2016 179 because it went back to the factory for repair and the side wall was replaced with the reinforced version. You would be better off with getting some outdoor fabric and some Kedre/Kador/Kodor (awning rail piping) material and fabricating your own, using the Keder rail that is already there. Just check the diameter of the rail so you get the correct size. I don't recall what it was, but I think it was 8mm.

Edit: You can find it under all three names. There is no consistency in spelling.

What year is your RP180? Earlier versions won't accept an awning.
