Hello Jim,

Welcome and congratulations on your RPod. I hope you have many fun adventures and make many great memories with it.

As for the photos, this is what I have done:  First, open them up in a program like the GIMP or other program and scale/resize them to no more than 1024x768 (I use 800x600). This reduces the file size and makes them fast to load yet leaves them with enough detail for people to see.

Second, use the advanced editor (two boxes with arrow above). That has an icon for uploading pictures (looks like a framed picture of a tree). Select and upload the scaled picture. Then you can use that picture in your posts.

I hope that will provide you enough information to be able to add pictures to your posts.
