I believe it needs the 12v power to have the fridge operate correctly on gas or 120v, and obviously on 12v power. Hope you get it up and running.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=4707" rel="nofollow">podderfj</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 16044<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 Sep 2024 at 10:00am<br /><br />I think I found the problem. &nbsp;The Pod has to be hooked to a DC battery or shore power for fridge to work even when on propane, I think. &nbsp;I do not have &nbsp;a battery hooked up to Pod and don't have shore power.<div>Pod has been sitting under shelter for about 5 years with no use. &nbsp;My wife and I camped several times between 2016 and 2019. &nbsp;She was then diagnosed with ALS and we could no longer camp. &nbsp;Pod was placed in barn out of weather and has not been used. &nbsp;Getting camper cleaned up and making sure everything works before selling it. &nbsp;Ignitor lights and chimney gets hot, but that is it. &nbsp;I have a generator that I hook up to the Pod and the fridge will work on AC mode. &nbsp;Going to hook up bsttery today and see if that will help. &nbsp;And make sure that it is level. &nbsp;Thanks for your response...If you have any other ideas, please let me know. &nbsp;I will let you know how I come out today... &nbsp; &nbsp;</div>]]>

I cannot find the model of the fridge anywhere. &nbsp;The label inside the fridge says 8R series, but I cannot find the model number anywhere. &nbsp;I think it may be the thermistor, but when removing the outside panel, I cannot find where the thermistor wires plug in so cannot test the thermistor. &nbsp;Thought about just ordering another one. &nbsp;Only about $15 on Amazon. &nbsp;But would like to know where they plug in on the back of the fridge outside. &nbsp;Also, what might be another problem or problems that I may look at. &nbsp;Is it necessary that camper be exactly level. &nbsp;It is almost level, but the bubble on my level is off just a bit...Any help will be appreciated.]]>
