    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=13305" rel="nofollow">TVRacer</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 15921<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 21 Jan 2024 at 12:27pm<br /><br />"<span style=": rgb251, 251, 253;">It has to be able to support people sitting on it.</span>"&nbsp; Thanks!!<div><br></div><div>I removed the jackknife sofa and also the support brackets.&nbsp; They were screwed into the edge of the platform.&nbsp; When knocking on the platform in the area of the brackets, it sounded more solid, thus why I said I thought there might be wood on the edge.&nbsp; But after removing the bracket screws, it looks to be a layer of wood on top of some type of a foam core, throughout the whole platform, including the edges.&nbsp; The screws were solidly anchored.</div><div><br></div><div>I am cutting the jackknife sofa in half (disassembling might be a better word) so I can turn the halves sideways and use them as the dinette seats.&nbsp; That's where I am at so far.</div><div><br></div><div>Tom</div>]]>
