If it's helpful, I sold my 2016 172 for 12k last year. You could check out FB marketplace in your or surrounding areas to see what other similar RPods are selling for.  With the devaluation of the dollar, the selling price should be much closer to the RV Trader value.  Probably your best bet would be to use internet sites for posting/selling your unit.  Also, how your 178 has been maintained is key as well such as: are you the original owner, how has it been stored, what upgrades have been performed, condition of your 178, maintenance records and the such.  Best wishes.

Hello everyone,

New member and owner of a 2014 RPod 178 - have been loving this trailer for several years and many trips.  I am actually looking at moving to a new trailer outside of the RPod world but am having trouble figuring out the value of my current trailer.  NADA value shows $5,500 and RV Trader says $11,000!  If anyone has tips on coming up with a fair selling price please let me know.
