If I connect a dish antenna output to the coax on the side of the RPOD 192 and then connect the dish receiver to the internal cable (which is now connected to the television) with the built-in RPOD antenna amplifier off, will that work?

I think it will, I'd feel more comfortable hearing from someone who has tried it.
