If you have not changed tires for a higher load rating, the tire pressure should be on the label. Go with what it says. If, however, you changed from C to D, go with the sidewall pressure recommendation. On my trailer with LR-D tires, the label specifies 65 PSI. In general 50 PSI for LR-C, 65 PSI for LR-D, and 80 PSI for LR-E.

See the chart on this page: https://www.tiresadvice.com/trailer-tires-load-range-chart/ . Scroll down to "Trailer Load Range Chart."

My trailer's tire load pressure is less then 1750 lbs because of the trailer's 3500 lb axle. I don't have a 65 psi pump, can I just inflate to 60 psi safely?
