Thanks for the comments. I plan to call the dealer tomorrow. It's such a pain to take it in as it's 100 mile drive to the dealer but think you are right that someone needs to look at this.

It sounds like its time for a visit back to your dealership.

You're correct: using the city water connection should not fill your fresh water tank.  Have your dealer take a look at the system.

The drain plug is located on the bottom of the fresh water tank, close to the middle of the trailer.   Simply unscrew the plug to release the water.  Your fresh water tank is white in colour, as opposed to black in colour for the grey and black tanks.

As far as your grey tank filling when you flush the toilet, its possible that your tank sensors were wired incorrectly (i.e. the black tank sensors were wired to the grey lights on the control panel).  Again, your dealer will be able to correct this for you.

Not sure how that could have happened, but the fresh water drain should be directly underneath the fresh water tank, beneath the trailer. Hi,
I just joined the owners Forum hoping that another R-pod owner out there might be able to help me understand the R-pod's plumbing. Forgive me if this gets long and boring but will try to explain in detail.
 
I have a 2010 model 176. This past week I took a short 4 day run to a Florida State Park and decided that I would not fill the fresh water tank but rather use 'the city water connection' so that I would not have to worry about dumping the fresh water tank when I returned home.  The second morning I realized that my fresh water tank was full. I thought if I used the city water connection it would bypass the fresh water tank. What happened??? Now I have the issue of emptying the fresh water tank but can not find the drain valve. My only option, I thought, was to empty fresh water into the grey and black tank. Seemed that the easiest way was to use the shower sprayer and just  spray in the toilet bowl continually flushing. As I did this my grey water tank filled before my black water tank. Now I am really confused?!? What happened there? Anyone have this problem?? Thinking I need to call the factory.....
