Running lights share a connector on the 7-pin plug with the taillights so I'd expect the rear clearance lights to branch off one of the taillights.

I haven't traced the wires on my 2017 179 to the extent that you have on your 178 but from casual inspection of other components within the trailer I've concluded that the running lights run in a bundle in the underside on IIRC the driver's side. But I haven't yet identified the routing from the taillights up to the spoiler.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix the three spoiler lights on my 2015 178 that have stopped working? Everything runs/lights up perfectly, sort of. I did a pretty good job disassembling and sanding all of the grounding connections I could find under the front of the trailer so im confident that is not the issue, at least there. I'm not really certain where to look for the green and white running light wires for the spoiler run.
