An easy way to make new cushions is to sandwich the foam between a piece of plywood and the fabric you want to use and then, with a staple gun, attach the fabric to the plywood on what will become the underside of the cushion. If you wrap it neatly like a gift it comes out great (a little practice helps). I even think with several folds you could make it rounded. Well, I don't know about those odd rounded corner cushions but I suppose there's a way to build them up by gluing a stack of cushions and carefully shaping the stack.

What we did 5 years ago was to replace the wimpy foam on the seats.  Went to an upholstery shop and purchased a real dense foam resulting in a 100% improvement in comfort.
