Author: StephenH
Subject: 15623
Posted: 03 Mar 2023 at 8:16pm

First thing is to clean the 7-way connector on your Titan and the RPod. Second is to check your fuse box(es) in the Titan to see if there is a blown fuse that controls that circuit. This link has a picture you can use to help:

https://www.northtexastrailers.com/fckimages/pages/trailer-wiring-diagrams/7-Way-RV-Diagram.jpg

Using a multimeter, put the red probe (positive) on connector 3 and the black probe on connector 1 with the lights for the truck turned on. If the circuit is live, your meter should read about 12V. If it doesn't, then that is an indicator of a blown fuse, especially if when you test the other circuits (such as right or left turn signals or brakes), you get a reading but you don't on pin 3. You will need a helper to step on the brakes or turn on and off the turn signals so you can test without having to run back and forth or to try to hold down the brake pedal and test the contacts. I don't think you are Mr. Fantastic or Elastigirl.

Let us know what you find out.

However, I noticed on our first trip the brake lights, turn signals and flashers worked but had no running lights after the sun went down. Ironically, I had the same issue with 2018 Keystone that I traded in....I'm begining to think its my tow vehical which is a 2021 Nissan Titan SV

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated
