I apologize for not giving a direct answer but I really like doing the simple charcoal thing.  I know it takes longer than gas and messier but you can't beat the flavor of cooking over charcoal.  We have a small 15"x15" charcoal unit that works swell for the two of us.  At our Traverse City R-Pod Rally last year we saw a few who had the outside unit, but in each case, they hadn't used it yet as they rather cook indoors.

Suburban’s griddle looks identical to FlameKing you can buy on Amazon for $113. You might look at the Amazon reviews. I wouldn’t expect too much from it. I have a FlameKing BBQ grill I bought from Amazon for $93.
