Thanks everybody for your helpful replies. We finally had to hire an electrician...!  turns out it wasn't the fuse but we now know where the fuse is. So the fuse for the Awning on an Rpod 192 is located in the main breaker box near the floor under the fridge. It is the 5th 12 volt fuse in the vertical line of fuses on the right side.  Turns out it was a few wires that were shorting out. All fixed now.

I seem to remember that when FR first started installing electric awnings on the RPods (can't remember when that was) that owners were having problems locating the fuse to replace the blown fuse.  If my memory serves me correct (which is questionable at best) there was an inline fuse holder which was located just behind the fuse/breaker box.  To get needed access and be able to replace the fuse you had to remove the fuse/breaker box and then locate the inline fuse holder in the wiring going from the fuse/breaker box to the awnings off/on switch.  Following offgrid's suggestions first would be the way to start working on the problem.  Hope this helps.]]> Thu, 02 Feb 2023 08:25:50 +0000 http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=15596&PID=150920#150920 Awning fuse? : +1It is possible that one of the... http://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=15596&PID=150918#150918 Author: StephenH

It is possible that one of the connectors for the awning got shaken loose during travel, either at the switch or the awning.

I don't know where FR might have hidden that fuse either. One likely thing is that they ran out of space in the DC fuse panel and added an inline fuse for the awning behind the panel. But sadly it could be anywhere.

It might be easier to troubleshoot your problem if you use your multimeter to check if you have 12V to the awning switch, since you already have access to that.

If you don't have a multimeter get one, this won't be the only time you'll need it.

If no power to the switch then you're right that it's probably a fuse and you know its located between the switch and wherever upstream that wire is connected into your 12V supply. The fuse is supposed to be at the upstream end of that wire, which might be connected somewhere else than the DC panel.

If youre getting power to the switch but not out of the switch when you turn it on then it's the switch. This wouldnt be the first switch failure.

If you are getting power out of the switch then likely its the awning motor itself or it's connectors.

Hi - we are on the road and our awning stopped working. We suspect a fuse but cannot locate the fuse for the awning on our 2021 Rpod 192. We've looked in the fuse box under the fridge - no awning fuse there that we can see - please correct us if we are wrong. 

We also took the panel off the switch panel near the door to see if there was a fuse behind it - nothing that we could see.

Does anybody know where the fuse for the awning is located on the 2021 R pod 192?
