Hi GlueGuy. We did look at a couple of Scamp 19 fifth wheels.  The biggest factor was we wanted a tandem axle trailer this go around.  The Scamps are very nice though and well worth a look if anyone wanted to go that route.

Nice setup.  Yes, I do like the truck as well.  Ours looks like yours (same color, engine, style and 4x4) except we have a 2017 BUT, the good news is, no problems thus far with the truck.  Always fun to go on an adventure, even in the winter!

We survived our 3157 mile, round trip to Canada to pick up our new Escape 5.0 TA. Neither atmospheric rivers, bilzzards of the century, and high wind closures of Interstates could keep us from this adventure and we are glad we did it. The Escape ain't so bad either. Loved every minute of it.

We camped our first night at a farm in Washington. To make time on the way back and stay ahead of a storm coming ashore behind us, we camped in parking lots. This is the Cabelas in Yakima, WA.
